Children in Worship
at St. Mark
Welcoming children into the heart of worship with love, joy, and grace.
Growing in Worship, Community, and Faith—Together
At St. Mark, children aren’t “on the sidelines”—they’re at the very heart of worship. We guide them through meaningful participation and loving community, helping them grow in faith each week.

Worship bags are available outside the sanctuary in the Narthex corner.
These quiet activities help children stay engaged while remaining in worship with their families.
Nursery Care
Nursery Care is offered for children from birth through kindergarten in the Family Life Center (Room 106).
Younger children are brought into the sanctuary for Time with Young Disciples when appropriate.
Time With Young Disciples
Each Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month), children are invited forward during worship for Time With Young Disciples—a short, child-centered message led by one of our pastors. Children in Nursery Care are also brought in to participate.
Worship is a learned practice, and children grow into it over time. The St. Mark congregation lovingly supports them each step of the journey.
